This Australian private club combines heritage architectural character with a range of contemporary hospitality spaces, including landscaped terraces, member lounges, dining areas and bars.
Defaico supplied a coordinated indoor and outdoor furniture package spanning teak terrace furniture, customized sofas and leisure chairs, fabric dining and bar seating, and a selection of dining and occasional tables. The furniture changes in expression from space to space while maintaining a controlled relationship through proportions, upholstery, timber tones and table finishes.

2. Client Needs
The club required furniture for several hospitality scenarios without forcing one identical design language into every room.
Outdoor terraces needed comfortable lounge seating for conversation and longer stays. Indoor lounges required deeper, softer furniture for social use, while dining and bar areas needed more structured seating, appropriate table heights and clear circulation.
The project also needed to work across contrasting interior settings, from dark timber and heritage-inspired rooms to more contemporary blue, red and green lounge spaces. The objective was controlled consistency rather than visual uniformity.

Defaico coordinated the project around custom indoor furniture and teak outdoor furniture, selecting each category according to how the club space is used.
For the terrace, Teak Sofa Sets and Teak Coffee Tables create comfortable lounge groupings with warm timber frames and light cushions. These pieces support longer social stays while maintaining a restrained outdoor hospitality character.
Inside the club, Customized Sofas and Customized Leisure Chairs respond to different room layouts and interior identities. Larger curved sofas define group social zones, while compact leisure chairs and side tables support smaller conversational settings.
